TeleMedicine Facilities

Duke University Medical Center offers a limited number of TeleMedicine-ready teaching facilities. However, new technologies and Educational Media Services innovations enable our TeleMedicine team to conduct teleconferencing from and to virtually any location in the Medical Center.

ProShare computer equipment and software allows desktop teleconferencing from/to almost any site while the VideoBus, (a TV production studio on wheels) can be moved to most teaching locations in the Medical Center.

Telemedicine equipped classrooms can be "toured" online by clicking the links below. Desired rooms can be scheduled online.

Teleconferencing equipment and connections can be reserved through Instructional Television at 919.681.4566.
